NHTSA Ratchets Up Investigation of Chrysler Minivans for Headlight Failure, Opens Investigation on Ford Expedition for Windshield Leak

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has upgraded its investigation of 813,597 2001-2002 Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan, and Plymouth Voyager minivans for headlight failure. The upgrade follows 704 complaints and 33,539 warranty claims.
Also, NHTSA has opened an investigation of 650,000 1999-2001 Ford Expedition sport utility vehicles for a windshield leak that during rain and snow showers may cause the windshield wipers and other electronically controlled devices to malfunction or not function at all. The investigation follows 20 complaints.
